On an old pick-up truck driving into Crystal Lake on Route 14, I was this bumper sticker.
It says,
HONK – IF YOU’R RICH (the”H” is missing)
(something)TE & LOVE HORSES
Can you fill in the blank in the first word in the second line?
I wonder if the driver is one of the people quoted in this Northwest Herald story yesterday about the DeKalb Carvel horse meat packing house. There was an unsuccessful attempt to relocate the plant in Big Foot in 1999.
“Honk if you’re rich, cute, and love horses”
“Honk if you’re rich, white, and love horses.”
