I’ve seen the McHenry County Peace Group’s demonstrators at the intersection of Route 14 and Main Street before, but this is the first time I had my camera handy.
Members meet every Thursday, I understand, to hold up signs in opposition of the Iraq War.
This is the same group that the Crystal Lake Gala Committee decided should not be allowed to bring their message to parade viewers in the 4th of July Parade.
If you haven’t read about the group’s sidelined Statue of Liberty, I encourage you to do so.
