John Noverini Announces Candidacy for Judge in Northeastern Kane County

NOVERINI TO RUN FOR CIRCUIT COURT JUDGE

CARPENTERSVILLE (Ill.) – District 23 Kane County Board Member John Noverini announced today that he will run for Circuit Court Judge in the 2nd Subcircuit of the 16th Judicial Circuit on the Democratic ticket.

Noverini, 49, an attorney, was elected to the Kane County Board in 2002 and reelected in 2006. He also served on the Carpentersville village board from 1999 until 2002.

Noverini will bring to the court a broad range of experience in law, banking, business, government and education. In addition to his law practice and service on the Kane County Board (Chair of the Finance Committee), he currently serves on the board of directors of American Heartland Bank and Trust Company and is Chairman of the Salvation Army Board in Elgin.

To his corporate credit, Noverini served as executive vice president and a director of Parkway Bank from 1993 to 1998 and in-house counsel for American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago from 1988 to 1993.

An instructor at Judson University in Elgin since 1995, he has taught “Business Ethics,” “Legal Aspects of Human Resource Management” “Employee Benefits and Compensation Management” and “Employee and Labor Relations”. Prior to that he taught “American Government” at Triton College from 1990 to 1995.

A native of Chicago, Noverini graduated from Lane Technical High School. He earned a law degree at IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law and is currently a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Kane County Bar Association. He also has a master’s degree in history from Northeastern Illinois University as well as a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Moody Bible Institute.

Noverini and his wife Saray Rodriguez reside in Carpentersville and are members of Willow Creek Community Church.

  1. funny ha ha ha this judge refused to give me a hearing for cause after judge janes his friend called him in to close chambers.. a judge breaks the law wow!

  2. I think he would be a great judge if he just knew the law, followed it and cared just a little about the children in the case before him. I voted for him…will never make that mistake again.
