The bald eagle and shield copied from the Illinois state seal are so boring.

So boring, in fact, that Tina Hill, chairman of the McHenry County Board’s Management Services Committee wants to redesign it.

I have a suggestion and the artwork is already completed.

A public information officer in the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency did it in 1977. He obviously had too much time on his hands, but a good sense of humor.
