These signs were being held at a demonstration of the McHenry County Peace Group at the northwest corner of Route 14 and Main Street in Crystal Lake.
Just by chance I was at the intersection Thursday night just before six when members were demonstrating.
I saw them this time of month in July, too.
When I passed by again at 6:50, the corner was empty.
