Tribune Finally Discovers Primary Contests in 8th Congressional District

The Chicago Tribune, which has cut back its coverage of the suburbs significantly, has finally run an article on the 8th congressional district primary elections.

The article concentrates on the Republican contenders, but mentions the challenge by Randi Scheurer to Melissa Bean in the Democratic Primary is also mentioned.

The paper managed to find room to run photos of two of the three GOP candidates—Steve Greenberg and Kirk Morris.

But, Ken Arnold does appear faceless in the article.

The reporter did miss another candidate, however. Iain Abernathy is running as the Moderate Party candidate. Last year Bill Scheurer captured enough votes against Bean and David McSweeney to garner a place on the ballot this year.
