San Francisco Liberal Nancy Pelosi Holds “Secret” Fundraiser For Melissa Bean Bean Votes With Liberal Democratic Leadership Over 87% Of The Time

LONG GROVE 10/18/07 —Melissa Bean first ran for office in 2002 claiming to be ‘mainstream’ and ‘moderate’ and attacked then-Rep. Phil Crane for not being an independent voice in Congress. It comes as no surprise then that Bean doesn’t want voters to know that she has voted the way her liberal leaders have told her to over 87% of the time in 2007 and has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from liberal politicians and far left special interest groups.

The latest liberal to raise money for Bean is San Francisco’s very own Nancy Pelosi, who is hosting a fundraiser at the downtown Chicago Westin at 5 p.m on Friday October 19th. Pelosi is the leading liberal in Congress and the cause of Congress’ historically low approval ratings.

“Melissa Bean needs to explain how she constantly says one thing in the district and another thing out of the district. She can’t say she is ‘mainstream’ and ‘moderate’ if she collects her campaign cash from Nancy Pelosi and follows her marching orders in Congress. Maybe the reason Melissa Bean didn’t have this event in the actual Congressional district is because she knows that voters don’t agree with Pelosi’s agenda, and that Melissa Bean is embarrassed by her,” opponent Steve Greenberg says.

Additionally, just two weeks ago, Bean refused to return $82,000 in campaign contributions from the radical, defeatist, liberal group MoveOn.Org, which disparaged respected four-star General David Petraeus in a full-page ad in the New York Times.

Greenberg once again called on Bean to stop describing herself as ‘mainstream’ and ‘moderate’ and to return the MoveOn money.
