On the way to South Elementary School, my son spotted this brilliant maple tree in front of the Dole Mansion.

With the sun shinning through it orange leaves, it was certainly beautiful.

Fall is here.

Not only can one tell by the changing color of the maple’s leaves, but by the lack of leaves on the tree to its side.

Soon only the evergreen will show signs of life.
