Great Coffee and More in Woodstock Saturday

Remember that coffee that my wife thought was better than Starbuck’s?

It’s not cheap, unless you compare what it costs with what Starbuck’s charges.

I’ll be the Congregational Unitarian Church will have some on November 17h at its annual Fair Trade Gift Fair. The press release about it follows.

FAIR TRADE GIFT FAIR RETURNS TO CONGREGATIONAL UNITARIAN CHURCH

WOODSTOCK—The 3rd Annual Fair Trade Gift Fair will be held at the Congregational Unitarian Church, 221 Dean Street on Saturday, November 17 from 1 to 9 p.m. The fair features fair trade coffee, tea and chocolate as well has hand crafted toys, home decor items, clothing and more.

The fair is sponsored by the Green Sanctuary Committee, the congregation’s environmental service, education, and advocacy organization and supports its work in making the church and community more ecologically friendly.

Items will also be on sale from 12:00 to 1 p.m. on Sunday after worship services.

  1. Don’t forget that Crystal Lake’s Conscious Cup Coffee (Across from Pingree Station by Mario Tricoci) does almost all fair trade coffee.

    They also roast in-house too!
