Yesterday, Richard Kelly’s description of what happened at the Northwest Herald’s joint interview of himself and McHenry County Auditor Pam Palmer focused on Palmer’s blaming her predecessor and former boss for problems in the office.

Today, he comments on the process by which McHenry County Auditor Pam Palmer was appointed to her post.

It’s short and sweet:

IT’S NOT HOW MUCH YOU KNOW, IT’S WHO YOU KNOW

During the interview with the Herald, my opponent indicated that seven individuals had applied for the position of auditor back in 2006.

It has come to my attention that at least three of these were Certified Public Accountants.

A number of the applicants were better qualified than the current auditor for the position.

But luckily for my opponent, she had the political ties to obtain the job.

I wonder if that debt is paid in full.
