At the District 300 legislative breakfast I attended this morning, I found this license plate in the parking lot.
It had number
72
on it.
It’s one of 118 issued to Illinois State Representatives.
And, to whom did it belong?
A little sticker on the back window gave a pretty good clue.
Elgin’s State Representative Ruth Munson.
She replaced Doug Hoeft after he died. Doug was my age and we both attended high school in New York State. He was there all four years. I moved to Crystal Lake in my junior year.
