Democrat Draws More Votes for State Rep Than Incumbent Mike Tryon

10,400 to 9,464

The Democrat got 52.4% of the primary votes cast.

Those are election results that will make State Representative Mike Tryon wonder whether he is in the fight of his life to hold his legislative seat.

Previously unknown Democratic Party precinct committeeman Robert Kaempfe, a veteran and retired postal union official topped, Tryon.

And, Democrat Jack Franks doesn’t even have an opponent.
