Here is the second American Flag that needs replacing after a windy winter.

The first was at the Crystal Lake Plaza.

Late last week it was still flying.

Tatters and all.

Much worse condition than this one flying in front of the Huntley School District 158 administrative building .

77 cars of teachers, board members, administrators and, maybe, a lawyer or two were in the parking lot.

Inside teachers and board members were taking part in the process of deciding how high teachers’ salaries should climb.

I wonder if the taxpayers’ pockets will be as frayed as this flag after an agreement is reached.

Or will they be tattered like the flag in Crystal Lake?
