Here’s a bumper sticker that a friend of McHenry County Blog sent.
It fits quite well with the radio ad that I ran for my 2002 Libertarian Party campaign for Illinois governor.
On top, it says, Dialing takes seconds
You can see a cell phone on the upper right and “911” under the words above.
Next is this line:
Waiting for help
may take the rest of your life.
may take the rest of your life.
There is a picture of a woman pointing a gun on the lower right hand side.
The words
Fight Back!
are on the lower left.
It’s a message completely synchronized with the radio ad, but it makes a very busy bumper sticker. It would be virtually impossible to read if on the car in front of you.
It would make a good billboard.
Scaremongering is always the best way to get the message out. Besides, it’s a cordless phone and not a cell phone…
I think that it is a valid concern.
If you can stomach it, listen to these 911 audios:
Woman with a broken leg in a home invasion. Cops ALMOST got there in time.
Woman in Indian shoots home intruder (stalker) that was strangling her.
Disturbing stuff…
