Rich Garling Files Campaign Finance Report – $11,000 Available for Beaubien Challenge

Island Lake Village Trustee Rich Garling is running as a Democrat against incumbent Republican Mark Beaubien of Barrington Hills.

He started out the beginning of July with just under $3,000. Darling reported have raised $8,123.

Noteworthy among the contributors is former State Treasurer and U.S. Senator Adlai Stevenson, III.

$11,000 isn’t much to run a campaign on.

Politicians making contributions $250 contributions were Democratic candidate for McHenry County State’s Attorney and Lake County Democratic Party Chairman and State Senator Terry Link.

After this report was filed, the law firm of former Democratic Party candidate for state senate against Pam Althoff and former McHenry County Democratic Party Chairman Patrick Ouimet contributed $1,000, while the UAW, using a Volo address, gave $1,500.
