As I figured out that Barack Obama was going to win the presidential election on November 4, I noticed the moon.

It was a crescent moon.

I immediately thought that people in the Islamic part of the world would be seeing the same moon.

And that it probably had more meaning to them than to me.

Even so, from now on, whenever I see a crescent moon, I’ll think of it as an “Obama Moon.”
