I’m not sure what the McHenry County President’s Reception is, but it will be held at Boulder Ridge Country Club on April 24th next year.

As you can see, this Walt Packard shindig comes out of the college’s Education Fund:

“The 2009 President’s Reception will be held at Boulder Ridge Country Club on April 24, 2009. The estimated cost for Boulder Ridge Country Club for this year’s reception is $9,500.00, based upon last year’s attendance. A deposit of $500.00 is due at this time.

“This expense is budgeted in the Institutional Account in the Education Fund.”

It turns out the following are invited to the reception each year:

• Employees and their spouses/guest
• Retirees
• Board of Trustees

Sounds like an office Christmas Party in April.
