Friday the kids in Crystal Lake Grade School District 47 had a snow day.

My son had two friends over and the order of the day, of course, was playing in the snow.

Here you see one of the boys emerging from his snow cave.

You can guess who shoveled the snow into a pile as high as our yard light…at least it was that high until they decided to play King of the Hill.
