What Will BMB’s 1,500 Foot Broadcast Tower Look Like?

So far, none of the professionals I have communicated with think BMB is going to build a free standing broadcast tower.

They think is will be a guyed (or “guy,” if you prefer) wire tower like the one show in this article.

But my sources say it will be self-supporting without guyed wires.

“If this is true,” one correspondent writes, “it is a project the size of the CN Tower in Toronto and would make Crystal Lake a tourist destination (restaurant, observation deck, etc.).

“I don’t think 3 or 4 acres of land will accommodate such a tower.”

That’s why I have put a photo of the CN Tower above.

It’s 1,815 feet high and has its “Sky Pod” at 1,465 feet, according to the official brochure where I found the photo and height information.

Somehow I don’t think something that substantial is going to be proposed in Crystal Lake.

Please feel free to share your ideas of what this mysterious structure will look like.

Certainly, it will not look like the Sears Tower.

Probably not like the Eiffel Tower either. This web site says it “was almost torn down in 1909, but was saved because of its antenna – used for telegraphy at that time.”

The Sears Tower photo is my own. The Eiffel Tower photo was taken from Widipedia and taken by

Rüdiger Wölk.
