What the BMB Broadcast Tower at McHenry County College Might Look Like?

Now, I’ll admit this is a bit of a stretch, but as long as MCC officials and MBM Broadcast Communications won’t allow me to see a rendering of the 1,500 foot tall proposed free standing broadcast tower, I can image the best.

One morning I looked at a little wooden vase on my wife’s jewelry stand.

The top reminded me of a tower.

It has something of an Arabic influence, I think, although it was crafted in the Midwest and purchased at Springfield’s Old Capitol Art Fair.

And, what a deal!

There is a kid’s tent.

No parents allowed.

There are adults inside, but the kids get to pick anything THEY want.

My son selected this lovely wooden vase and the Mom became the lucky owner.

Prices are $4, $5 and $6, the Old Capitol Art Fair web site says.

The children can purchase three items a day at the two-day event.

My son’s bedroom looks like an eclectic art gallery.

Several years he has bought animals like this turtle.

The Art Fair is May 16th and 17th this year. Only once has the weather not be excellent. That once, it was a bit chilly.
