Grafton Township Newsletter Delivered to Algonquin Township Residents

Delivery of the Grafton Township newsletter outside the township has happened before, but last year it was in April.

I suggested that Grafton Township Supervisor had sent out this year’s newsletter right before the February Republican primary election in order to enhance his re-nomination chances.

Yesterday, I chanced upon this 2008 article, which showed last year’s spring newsletter was sent out in April.

That pretty much proves my point.

The newsletter mailed this year was for political purposes.

State legislators violate the law if they sent out newsletters within so many days (I think it is 30 days) of one of their elections.

If the same law applied to township officials, Rossi’s mailing of his newsletter would have broken the law.

Linda Moore is running against Rossi for township supervisor in the GOP primary.
