Sal Cucinella, McHenry County Young Republicans Membership Chair reports the following is what the YR’s are doing about Wednesday’s TEA Parties:

“Through our online social media Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc. we have confirmed that 30 members will be attending the Tea Party downtown.

“As well we will have several members attending the Tea Parties throughout the suburbs.

“We have been promoting the tea party online for several months now and people are showing great interest in the event.

“Our Chicago YR’s are having a separate Tea Party event at Navy Pier

“Many of the Tea Party organizers have stressed that this is a non-partisan grass roots event, even though the majority of their supporters are Republicans and Libertarians they do not want to exclude the few Democrats that want to be involved.

“With that said it would be great to get some pub ourselves even though we may get some heat from some of the organizers.

“We are currently making our last minute push to remind everyone of the events tomorrow and to attend their local Tea Parties. Please let me know if you have any further questions.”
