Franks is a democrat and Althoff is a republican. What are the two, supposedly opposed to each other’s viewpoints, sharing a booth and banner for?
Because they are the elected representatives for Woodstock.
Are they there as elected representatives, serving their constituents? Is Jack campaigning at his booth? It would be interesting to know the sources of funds to pay for the booth.
I think it’s great seeing our tax dollars at work. Two elected officials working together for the betterment of community. Reading anything else into this would diminish what appears to be an honest attempt by Rep Franks and Sen. Althoff to work together. This being said, perhaps Rep. Franks has his eye on a State Senate Seat?
At any rate, the photo is refreshing to see! Good job to both!
Ha!!!
Maybe Jack Franks is doing double duty for the booth next door – Northwest Sunrooms. Unless his tan reflects the heat he may be getting from Gov. Pat Quinn.
Just because someone claims to be fiscally conservative doesn’t make them a Republican. Altoff is a RINO and her affirmative vote for the gay rights bill several years ago confirmed that.

It’s no wonder Republicans are painted as “anti-Gay” bigots. Congratulations enoughalready!
