The petition passing season for third party candidates starts tomorrow.
Aspirants to the ballot position have until June 21st to turn them in.
Statewide candidates like the Libertarian Party need to turn in 25,000. Usually, people advise that twice as many signatures be turned in as are needed, because third party petitions are invariably challenged.
But, this time they are putting the signature gathering out for bid.

You name the price.
When I ran in 2002, the price was $1 a signature.
Obviously someone has an opportunity to make some money.
It is hard to imagine making less than $9 an hour gathering petitions.
