I sure did.
8th District Republican Congressional candidate Joe Walsh alerted those on his email list of the Northwest Herald’s editorial of two days ago entitled,
Bean Defies Constituents
(I had to go searching to find it.)
164 comments, plus a note saying it was published in other Shaw papers.
“There still are too many unknowns about the long-term effects of this legislation, including what it will mean for the majority of Americans who are satisfied with their current coverage,” the editorial reads.
Noting that Bean did not announce her decision to vote for the bill until the day before the vote, the NW Herald continues,
“Unfortunately, 8th District Congresswoman Melissa Bean, D-Barrington, chose party loyalty over her duty to the people she represents – the same people who sent her to Washington – when she voted in favor of the bill.”
I wonder if that means the paper might actually her Republican opponent Joe Walsh, even though he hasn’t raised much money.
