When I was at Oberlin College campaiging for the election of Charles A. Mosher, he used the same campaign colors you see in Mike Mahon's Harvard Milk Day Parade float. They certainly stand out. Click to enlarge the photo and see if you can recognize local Democrats.
Lake in the Hill’s Mike Mahon, the Democratic Party candidate for sheriff against incumbent Republican Keith Nygren, had a big float in Harvard’s Milk Day Parade.

Some people were smart enough to have tents. It would protect them from the sun, not to mention rain.
Does the umbrella mean there was some rain on the Milk Day Parade this year?

From the look on this policeman's face, it would seem that Sheriff Keith Nygren does not have a lock on the votes of all local law enforcement officers.

No word if McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren was in the parade promoting his candidacy.
The officer in the last picture is an Illinois Auxillary Officer. A majority of the IAO’s are from the Chicago area. So it doesn’t matter if Mahon has this guys vote, it won’t count…oh wait, its McHenry County…

Now I am told that Nygren had a presence in the parade, but was not there personally.
Sheriff Nygren and his wife Marge where in the parade. Those that didn’t see his presence with the motorcycle team must be blind, or have another political agenda……..
