Here’s the line-up:
June 16: Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel – The world famous singing pre-teen chipmunk trio return to contend with the pressures of school, celebrity, and a rival female music group known as The Chipettes.
June 23: The Spy Next Door – Former CIA spy Bob Ho takes on his toughest assignment to date: looking after his girlfriend’s three kids, who haven’t exactly warmed to their mom’s beau.
June 30: Where the Wild Things Are – An adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story, where Max, a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world – a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.
The upcoming schedule of Wednesday morning movies at Woodstock Theatre for the months of July and August to include:
- Fantastic Mr. Fox on July 7,
- Planet 51 on July 14,
- Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief on July 21,
- Tooth Fairy on July 28,
- Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on August 4, and
- Surprise Movie (TBA) on August 11.

Each Wednesday morning through August 11, Classic Cinemas theatres will present a family-friendly movie for just $1. The Woodstock Theatre, located on 209 Main Street in Woodstock, will begin each show at 10 a.m. The doors open at 9 a.m. and movie-goers are encouraged to come early for fun and games before the movie begins.
Classic Cinemas accepts reservations for groups of 15 or more for the Wednesday Morning Movie Series.
