A friend of McHenry County Blog received the piece you see from the RGA, the Republican Governors Association, which apparently doesn’t want its identify known.

It hasn’t arrived in my mailbox yet, but I expect it will.

It is a piece intended to get people to vote for Republican Bill Brady, of course, and is highly negative of appointed Governor Pat Quinn.

Early voting starts Monday, if you can find any early voting place open on Columbus Day.

If your precinct committeeman brings you a precinct letter today, you know he or she is playing the role in the election process that he or she should be.
