Post-Grafton Township Meeting Altercation beween Trustee Gerry McMahon and David Moore Ends in Arrest of Moore

The press release below was issued by the Huntley Police Department. It relates to a confrontation between Township Supervisor Linda Moore’s husband David and Township Trustee Gerry McMahon.
David Moore is one of the mildest men I have ever met, while McMahon is the most combative public official I have ever observed.

Battery Charges Filed in altercation
Thursday evening October 14, 2010 at 11:41 pm the Huntley Police Department responded to the Huntley Park District (12015 Mill St. Huntley) for a report of a battery that had just occurred.
The investigation into the incident revealed that a physical altercation occurred between David C. Moore and Gerald McMahon.
It is being alleged that David Moore approached Gerald McMahon outside the meeting room in the park district building and started videotaping McMahon’s conversation with other members of the Grafton Township Administration.
McMahon put his hand up and attempted to block the videotaping when Moore reacted and allegedly placed his hands on McMahon’s upper body and shoved him.
McMahon then slapped Moore as he was being pushed.
David Moore was taken into custody by Huntley officers and transported to the station.
Moore was charged with Battery.
Moore posted $150.00 bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of November 19, 2010 at 8:30am.

Looks like BOTH of the Moore’s have a propensity for physically striking others. Linda Moore slapped Pam Fender inside the offices of Grafton Township. It’s good Linda and David found each other. I’m sure it’s “Harmony on Harmony Road.”
1Everyone involved including the entire board, Linda Moore, and Pam Fender have made a mockery of Grafton Township. All involved should be ashamed and frankly, should resign their duties. It’s ridiculous.
2A show event for media attention. The board’s physical conditioning program is evident by the picture of the victim and it appears to be working almost as well as the one used by the other elected officials in McHenry County. When you eat at the trough long enough it begins to show

Weren’t you the same guy pontificating the endless praises of a certain tax-dodging, car-insurance avoiding buddy while Linda Moore was squawking about how the sky was falling?
Just how many of your “mild” friends have had trouble with the law?
Frankly, the violent and non-law-abiding friends you keep makes me wonder about some of the other people you heap praises upon.
With criminal friends like these, do you know the difference between right and wrong, because that moral compass of yours needs a’fixin’.

Yes, David must be completely mild mannered, to put hands on and shove someone is completely ‘mild mannered’. (rolling of eyes)

LM all I can is WOW! WOW! WOW!
It is like dealing with a middle school kid!
Mr. McMahon might be loud but he is NOT physical as for Mr. Moore he is quite but physical.
As for any comments on Ms. Fender: Ms. Fender has (what I have witness) proven herself to be professional.
