Walsh Urges Supporters to Arrive at Tonight’s Walsh-Bean Joint Appearance Early

Take Route 120 east from McHenry County until you see Grayslake, the lake.

The”debate,” sponsored by the Lake County League of Women Voters starts at 6:30 tonight at Grayslake High School.

When the Penquin ran for mayor of Gotham, his goons wore labels. Melissa Bean's are plain clothesmen.

In an email, Republican Joe Walsh urges supporters to come early (6 PM) because

“Ms. Bean may very well bus in people from outside of the district.

“We sure don’t want to miss that.

“Let’s be respectful, but let’s make sure that our voices are heard. Remember, this woman has been hiding from us and avoiding our questions for months.

“This ‘debate’ will be rigged in her favor so let’s make it clear to her that she no longer represents us and needs to answer our questions.

“If not tonight, sometime before the election.”

  1. “This debate will be rigged in her favor so let’s make it clear to her that she no longer represents us . . . ” Sounds like Joe is a little paranoid and completely disrespectful of the process and the people who voted Melissa Bean in as Congresswomen. Busing in people from outside the district – you mean like where Walsh lived before moving to McHenry County earlier this year? What a paranoid nut.

  2. The reality Allan is that it has been quite a common practice for Democrats to bus in supporters such as Union members from outside of districts. The way Bean has been ducking the voters in her district it is a perfectly reasonable assumption she may follow this pattern.

  3. Joe may have moved back to the district but Bean still live OUTSIDE the district.

  4. Bean does NOT live in the 8th district and never has. That’s a known fact,
she lives in unicorporated Cook County, Palatine Township, Congressional District 10. She can NOT even vote for herself. Ha Ha…..

  5. Funny, in the past year I have attended no less than three open meetings in McHenry County where Melissa Bean was the guest speaker. I know this doesn’t fit the narrative set up by Mr. Walsh, so it is pretty much ignored here. It is disappointing when people lie.
