Not a bad piece, but it came the same day as the first one.
Apparently it went statewide.
This one has a Time Magazine-time cover. “Our Times” it the title.
The headline on both the address side and the back is
Not a conservative?
Of course, that is not a surprise finding to social conservatives.
And I was thinking about voting for the Libertarian, Mike Labno, until I figured out that electing Kirk for the lame duck term (to replace Roland Burris until the next Congress is sworn in in January) would give Republicans the opportunity to stop the kind of post-election nonsense that occurred after Newt Gingrich won control in 1994.
And, Kirk is very good on fiscal issues. (See “The Importance of Mark Kirk.”)
In any event, I wanted you to be able to see what the Democrats are sending out.
Strangely, there is a mixed message.
While Labno’s pitch on pro-life and the Second Amendment is made, there is a panel praising Democrat Alexi Giannoulias for “fighting for Illinois Jobs.”
I figure the one he is fighting for most is his place on the public payroll.
Mike Labno spoke at the McHenry County TEA Party candidates’ night a couple of weeks ago and I got the photo you see here.
This is part of a national effort to use Third Party candidates to split the Republican vote.
