  1. Interesting Mahon states:

“Mike Has Pledged Not to Take Campaign Contributions from Employees or Firms with County Contracts

Current Sheriff Says: Let the Good Times Roll”

Can somebody help me where the Sheriff was quoted saying this on this subject or is it as I suspect Mahon just simply making quotes up?

I mean we know he appears to be playing loose and fast semantic political games with the quote he makes, with the money he has taken from current county employee and the CEO of a firm that contracts training programs to law enforcement…but it appears he is simply making up that implied Nygren quote…Although he does clearly say that “Current Sheriff Says”.

  2. Once again Mahon spewing his nonsence but yet he fails to tell us of his POLICE OFFICER experience. I for one am glad Nygren will not lay anyone off, There are enough people out of work. And again with the full time Sheriff crap, If you are so jelous of Nygren and his vacation home, GO BUY ONE.

You are indeed a supervisor however, Just because you work for the second largest sheriffs department still does not justify you leading POLICE OFFICERS. A janitor can work for Cook County, does that make them also qualified to run for Sheriff.

I have yet to see you once outline your objectives for the MCSO. What programs are you going to start? How are you going to cut$1 million dollars? Fire officers? Cut staff at the jail? Thats real safe.

I once again will be waiting for your answer.

One other question, Why have you not advance to the Cook County Sheriffs Police?

  3. Nygren needs to go — too much nonsense. Mahon is the best choice. Vote Mahon!

  4. If you love men who abuse women and girls Mahon certainly is your man. There has never been an excuse in the history of man for the bullying of one type of person over another. Beyond this there are entire societies and cultures who would kill a man who attacked a woman or a girl. No one I know makes excuses for rapists or abusers except the supporters of this coward Mahon. He is a human rights abomination and should be dragged through the streets in shame, not promoted to the second highest law enforcement position in the County. Run Mahon. If you lose, run from this county. We don’t want you and won’t put up with you or your kind…. Ever. If you win pray we don’t meet.
