How Nervous Is Jack Franks?

A fourth mailing arrived in district mailboxes on Thursday.

It repeats his sweep of newspaper endorsements on the address side.  No emphasis of his being a Democrat ready to re-elect Mike Madigan House Speaker, of course.

The address side of Jack Franks' fourth mailing. Put yourself in "Where's Waldo?" mode. Can you find the word "Democrat?"

Here’s what’s on the other side,

On the other side of the post card, the lawyer-politician who is in his 11th year in office, "humbly" asks for "your vote," so he can fight against the corrupt career politicians who have taxds and spent Illinois into a fiscal crisis." Franks, of course, does not point out that he and his fellow Democrats have been in control of everything as the state financial situation has deteriorated. Interestingly, he includes a photo of a WIND interview by Dennis Miller in which Miller chided him for not being for term limits.

The reason Jack Franks is nervous, of course, is that the McHenry County Republican Party didn’t give Franks a pass this year.

He actually has an opponent. His name is John O’Neill, a homeschooling Dad, who serves on the McHenry Grade School and Library Boards.
