How long does it take?

Sheriff’s Deputy Bob Schlenkert, who was re-instated in his job after a long court battle, has still not been paid.

When I asked for documents about the settlement agreement, here’s the response I received:

The Attorney for the County in the matter of Schenkert v. McHenry County Sheriff’s Dept.  reports that no settlement agreement has been reached and that settlement negotiations are ongoing and no payment has been made.

Schlenkert won his Appellate Court case in late March.
