Mike Mahon has been endorsed by the McHenry County Tea Party for Sheriff of McHenry County in the general election Tuesday.

In a message to its members issued Sunday, the McHenry County Tea Party released a statement saying they believe Mahon and the other endorsed candidates “will fulfill our mission, to promote and defend the Constitution, our freedom and liberty, limited government, sound money, and free markets.”

Mike Mahon responded: “I thank the Tea Party steering committee for their endorsement and assure them that I respect their public spirit and willingness to get involved. I look forward to working with them and with all citizens.”

  1. The endorsement only speaks for a few.
It does NOT represent all the Tea Party members.

  2. Well then the rest of the tea party members should speak up, and not let this wacky Tea party lady speak for the majority.
