Sheriff’s Office Gets 42 More Illegal Aliens with Criminal Records Off the Street in October

December 06, 2010 By: Cal Skinner Category: Criminal, Illegal, illegal aliens, Keith Nygren, McHenry County Sheriff, Undocumented

In 2007 young political leaders from China toured the McHenry County Jail.

As usual, I asked the number of undocumented aliens that were detained in McHenry County during October, 2010, under the Secure Communities program of the Department of Homeland Security.

And (drum roll) the number of criminal illegals is “42 conversions month of October,” according to Sheriff Keith Nygren’s Freedom of Information Office Jan Weech.

For some reason the Sheriff’s Department does not keep the country of origin of the illegals.

Think either of the daily papers will ever pick up on this story?

  1. OK, so I’m confused. About three years ago an authority on the Hispanic population of McHenry County estimated that there were about 16,000 illegal aliens in McHenry County.

What does “42 conversions month of October” mean?

Does this mean that MCSD deputies arrested 42 illegal aliens? Or that ICE delivered 42 illegal aliens to the Nygren Hotel in Woodstock?

If deputies went out and arrested all the illegal aliens in McHenry County, we’d have to add 15-20 (or more) stories on the jail.

There is a schoolbus headed for Mexico soon. Could it be put to use?

How many drunken republicans were taken off the streets?

    How many violent teabaggers?

    How many AMERICAN citizens?
