Ten McHenry County residents have filed to shape the future of McHenry County College.
They are in two categories. There is one two-year vacancy and two four-year vacancies.
The electoral contest entrants and the length of term they seek follow:
Two-year vacancy term (1 position open)
- Dennis Adams (appointed incumbent), McHenry
- Dave Boger, McHenry
Six-year full term (2 positions open)
- Bob DeWitt (appointed incumbent), Crystal Lake
- Darren Fortin, Woodstock
- Robert S. Jackson, Woodstock
- Cynthia Kisser, Wonder Lake
- Linda Liddell, Crystal Lake
- George Lowe (elected incumbent), Cary
- Erik Sivertsen, McHenry
- Gordon Tebo, Woodstock
Anyone wishing to file an objection regarding a candidate’s filed petition may file said objection between December 21 and December 28, 2010:
- December 21, 22 and 23: Any objection must be filed at McHenry County College in the President’s Office, Room A233, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- December 27 and 28: Any objection must be filed at McHenry County College in the Campus Public Safety Office, Room B174, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Room B174 is located at the circular drive entrance by the flagpole.
