Sun-Times Covers Rebuttal of State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi’s Lawyer

Sometimes it helps to read Chicago newspapers to find out what is happening in McHenry County.

Today was one of those days.

Sun-Times reporter Dan Rozek writes about how Lou Bianchi’s attorney Terry Ekl argues for dismissal of the case “because the special prosecutor who obtained the indictments exceeded his authority, defense attorneys said Thursday.”

The article is worth reading, if you want to keep up with the case.

The Chicago Sun-Times article covers the width of the page.

Has the scope of Special Prosecutor Henry Tonigan’s investigation been broadened?

There doesn’t seem to be anything on the public record to indicate that it so.

  1. While you are talking of the States attorney, Cal, kind of sad you decided to take down the copy of the States attorney’s reply to Seipler’s latest motion that you had up for a short time. Seemed to give a voice to the other side of Sieplers ramblings for a change.

  2. Even if Milliman is crazy and eveything concerning murder and human trafficking and kickbacks and nolle pros arrests are “ramblings’ how do you explain or justify Bruketta falsifying 140 tickets? Answer that “Are You Kidding”.

Isn’t a deputy a police officer? When a deputy testifies under oath to what he has observed with regards to criminal activity doesn’t the court hold that testimony as valid? I mean the court and the jury and the S/A’s office all believed Deputy Chief Eugene Lowery when he said that Gary Gauger killed his parents.

Is the S/A’s office investigating Milliman’s allegations? Word around that Government center is Bianchi and his sorry excuse for an administration are not investigating. How pathetic.

Bianchi and Nygren both need to spend some time behind bars.

We need a man like Seipler protecting the people, worms like these guys.

  3. Seipler…I believe anyone who falsely documented that they witnessed a citizen commit a crime should be fired and prosecuted, period. Doesn’t matter to me who they are.
