Northwest Herald Reports Nygren Cleared by FBI

The Northwest Herald is running a story saying that Chicago’s FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert D. Grant has written Undersheriff Andy Zinke a January 4th letter saying the allegations made by Deputy Sheriff Scott Milliman against Sheriff Keith Nygren are of “no ‘prosecutive merit.'”

Chicago FBI Office Media Coordinator Special Agent Royden “Ross” Rice told McHenry County Blog:

“I can confirm that a letter was sent by our office to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department.

“The letter was in response to a request they had made for information.”

  1. Gus, is there ANY pleasing you? Perhaps the FBI never encountered such an outlandish, unsubstantiated and crazy allegation before. Perhaps the rules are different when the “subject” of the investigation asks to clear the air in such a case. Why don’t you just crawl back under your bridge and continue playing the the demented troll?

  2. Unbelievable dont waste your time with Philpott he is just as stupid as Milliman and thats being nice.

  3. That anyone would have believed that crud is beyond me. Still, this response from the FBI won’t be enough for some; I think it’s called “spinning” the truth.
