With McHenry County government planning major changes on Alden and Fleming Roads, along with other road building, the McHenry County Environmental Defenders is promoting a workshop to teach citizens how to be dangerous. The invitation follows:

  1. Will the workshop point out how to build more roads with the same amount of money by repealing Obama’s executive fiat and also the Illinois Democrats” law that requires sky high union wages to be paid on every “transportation” project?

    There are plenty of people willing to stand out there holding a sign for $5/hr. less and be delighted to have a job.

    There are so many do-next-to-nothing patronage jobs in government funded construction projects, this is the 2nd place where abuses should be stopped.

    For every “worker” on a road site there are always several employees just watching. They should call them the Dem road welfare projects.

    The most ridiculous thing is the unions do nothing to screen out illegals from holding too many of those jobs. Do you think kickbacks to the union bosses who get them these jobs don’t happen in these instances?
