Tonigan Fails to Present Bill for Lastest Activity

March 01, 2011 By: Cal Skinner Category: Bill, Henry Tonigan, Lou Bianchi, McHenry County State's Attorney, Office, Robert Seigalski, Special Prosecutor, Thomas McQueen

The entrance to the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office.

There was a press conference yesterday at which three people being paid for by McHenry County taxpayers stood up and explained new indictments against McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi and two of his investigators.

The three are Henry Tonigan, Thomas McQueen and Robert Seigalski.  [This name was incorrect for a while. It has been corrected.]

Two special prosecutors and one investigator.

The representatives of McHenry County taxpayers have yet to see an itemized bill from any of the three.

Maybe Judge Gordon Graham has, but, if so, he has not made them public…even with redactions he might consider proper.

Here’s the December 13, 2010, bill. It presented the total from June through August, 2009, and January 1, 2010 .

Nothing has been sent to the McHenry County Board since then.

Seven months of bills have not been presented.

How much more do you think taxpayers will be on the hook?

Here’s another bill from September 4, 2009, through December 31, 2010.

Nothing to worry about except money? Where’s the story on the NEW charges against Bianchi, etc.? Nothing about what we’re getting for our money, i.e. charges and offenders? If you’re going to tell a story, tell the whole story. Bianchi and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
