National Taxpayers United of Illinois is an equal opportunity offender.

For the past several years he has been blowing the warning whistle about the generosity of public employee pensions.

He has gone county-by-county revealing local government, including school government, pensions and compared those to the average household income.

He has published state employee pensions. The highest are medical professionals who worked for universities.

Tobin has published the top 50 legislative pensions. (I didn’t make the list.)

Today, the figures below are going to make retired judges angry. As a group they are the highest paid pensioners. (Because of my inexperience with tables, I’m limiting the information to the annual judicial pension.)
