Jim Tobin Unveils 51st to 100th Highest Judicial Pensions

NTU President Jim Tobin will be at Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake Sunday afternoon at 1. The hottest school board race in the county is in McHenry High School District, in which the east side of Wonder Lake lies.

Yesterday, National Taxpayers United of Illinois President Jim Tobin revealed the top 50 judicial pensions in the state.

I recognized some past Illinois Supreme Court judges and some Lake County judges from times past.

Today, in the second top highest 50, if your eyes are sharp, you’ll find at least one local retired judges.

The range from the highest on this list to the lowest is only $944, so ranking them doesn’t tell much.

Jim Tobin Unveils 51st to 100th Highest Judicial Pensions — 3 Comments

  1. What is the deal with this nutcase Tobin? Doesn’t he believe in anyone getting a government pension? I agree the State pensions are under water but is that the fault of the people receiving the pensions or the idiots in state government that stole the contributions? Are the judges pensions pretty cushy, YES but did they write the rules?

My pension (IMRF) is currently over 90% funded through investments which are the investments of the PUBLIC employee’s contributions and the matching contributions from the County, City or Township where the employee worked. IMRF has never been in any trouble or threat of failure, yet TOBIN lumps it in with the STATE pensions. Now Tobin seems to target the retirees of the State rather than the buffoons in or state house that robbed the money to pay for ridiculous give a ways to every left leaning organization that may vote the fools back in.

Idiot Jack Franks doesn’t seem to know the difference either when he tries to write legislations affecting IMRF when it is not deficient. The only thing I can think of is that this liberals want the IMRF funds to squander to try and bail out the state. Hey Jack..if you read these blogs, your pension legislation just lost you three votes from our family. We USED to support you even with the big “D” behind your name….NO MORE!

  2. Would you buy a used car from this bloke? Then why would you buy into his gibberish?
