There will be hot time in the Woodstock courthouse Thursday afternoon at one.
Six citizens and McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi’s Defense Attorney Terry Ekl are holding a press conference, which, because it is on public property, interested citizens can attend.
Here’s what it’s about:
A press conference will be held TOMORROW (April 7) featuring six McHenry County citizens and attorney Terry Ekl seeking the dismissal of special prosecutors Henry Tonigan and Thomas McQueen for incompetence and gross over billing.
The six are filing a motion in McHenry County Circuit Court seeking to intervene in the prosecution of McHenry County State’s Attorney Lou Bianchi.
Tonigan and McQueen are the failed prosecutors of Bianchi in a case summarily dismissed last month by a judge for lack of evidence even before the defense presented its case.
Tonigan and McQueen are persisting in pursuing other equally baseless charges against Bianchi.
