Might Zane Seipler Be Contemplating a Run for County Board?

Zane Seipler

Here’s what’s on former McHenry County Sheriff Deputy Zane Seipler’s web site, “McHenry County Sheriff’s Department Exposed“:

What’s Going On Behind Closed Doors with the County Board?

I have been hearing some rumors lately regarding the County Board.

Complaints to the Attorney General.

Secret meetings.

Open Meeting Act violations.

In a couple of months it will be time to start collecting signatures for those interested in running for office.

A run for County Board may be in order.

I’ll let you know.

With potential legislative candidates making moves, it certainly stands to reason that those with an interest in the McHenry County Board would be doing so also.

The salary is about $20,000 a year and there is health insurance for the entire family…unless the rules are changed by the current county board.  Taxpayers also pay the employer’s share for Social Security and the pension fund called IMRF (Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund)

Here’s what folks earned during FY 2010.  Remember that county board members are sworn in the first week of December.

  1. You have to love Illinois…where we can take a $20k/yr salary and make taxpayers pay $43.5k/yr for it!

  2. If you look at Democrat Paula Yensen, she charges our county for benefits but doesn’t charge her Kane County job for her health.

She could easily charge her Kane county job for paying for her benefits, instead we have to overpay for Yensen.

  4. You are wrong. Paula Yensen’s Kane County job does not offer health insurance of any kind.

  5. Will Zane run as a Republican, Dem, Ind? Fact is Zane is NOT a Republican because he had Mike McHon Dem, and Independant Sally Wiggin yard sign in front of his house pass election.

Be a man Zane is this correct?

  6. Sally was refreshing. Sally has always voted Republican. She has a strong belief that judges should be neutral and not be supported by a party. She also did not accept any donations from lawyers or put her signs out in front of law offices for the same reason. No money from local attnys that would come before her in court. Only those far out of the district.
I heard that Mike’s wife always voted Rep.

  7. teacher (and with your values, I hope to God you are not) —

Nygren came to this county as a Dem. Ran on Dem ticket more than once and could not win.

All of a sudden, he is a Rep.

Now, the Reps are supposed to have certain goals and standards which conservatives lean to.

Asking people to vote for people simply because they run on certain party ticket, is loosing its hold.

Thus, the Tea Party. People want good, decent representation.

Voting for bums because they are of a certain party is stupidity. Buys nothing but trouble.

Both Mike and Sally were the best people for the jobs.

I too, a registered Rep. lifelong had the same signs in my yard.

Do not try to sell me pigs in a Republican poke!!!
