MORE PARADE INFORMATION

Last fall's pre-election parade in Johnsburg.

Thank you to all who came out to march for Joe today in Fox Lake and Palatine. It was hot, but a ton of fun! We hope to see even more supporters tomorrow, Sunday July 3, at one of the following parades. Please remember to wear sun-screen and drink lots of water! Wear comfortable walking shoes. We will provide Joe Walsh For Congress t-shirts for you to wear

CRYSTAL LAKE:
Arrive between 11:00 a.m and 12:00 p.m. in order to line up without last minute confusion and congestion. Parade kicks off at 1:00 p.m. SHARP! We are in slot #9A in the Municipal lot, 100 W. Woodstock Street. Parade kicks off on the corner of Woodstock Avenue and Dole Avenue. Parade participant pick-up is at the end of the parade route at South Elementary School, 601 Golf Road, Crystal Lake , in the parking lot which is on the east side of the building. If you plan to walk back to the staging area, you will not be allowed to return via the parade route. We will be happy to transport people back to the start of the parade via the truck, but spots may be limited

WONDER LAKE:
Parade line up is at Christ the King Church, 5006 E. Wonder Lake Road, Wonder Lake.Arrive between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Parade kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Slot number will be determined tomorrow morning so look for a parade marshal for details or our decorated car with signs. Parking is very limited in the church lot so would be best to find parking closer to Barnard Mills Road. MUNDELEIN:
Parade line up is at McKinley & Prospect a few blocks east of Route 45 & Hawley. Our float, a magnificent 1965 blue Bonneville convertible, will be in slot #31. The parade will end at the Mundelein High School. This is a long parade so wear really comfortable walking shoes. Line up is from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and parade starts at 2:00 p.m. The theme is “Patriotic”, so wear your red-white-and-blue Joe Walsh for Congress t-shirt (or get one from us when you arrive at the parade) and show your patriotism!
