Republican Althoff and Democrat Franks Plan Joint Town Hall Meetings

Sen. Althoff to host town hall meetings 

McHENRY, Ill. – State Sen. Pamela Althoff (R-McHenry) will be hosting several upcoming town hall meetings in September to talk with local residents about the challenges facing Illinois and McHenry County.

State Rep. Jack Franks and State Senator Pam Althoff had a joint booth at the McHenry Business Expo

“These town hall meetings provide area residents with the opportunity to have real face time with their representatives to voice their concerns about any and all issues that affect them, their families and their employment,” Althoff said. “I encourage everyone who has questions or comments to attend.”

Sen. Althoff will be co-hosting three town hall meetings with State Rep. Jack Franks (D-Marengo).

They will be:

  • Monday, September 19 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Woodstock City Hall (121 W. Calhoun Street)
  • Wednesday, September 21 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the McHenry City Hall (333 S. Green Street)
  • Monday, September 26 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Wonder Lake Village Hall (4444 Thompson Road)

Other town hall meetings are in the process of being set up throughout the McHenry County area for October and later in the fall. For more information, please contact Sen. Althoff’s office at 815-455-6330.

  1. I’d love it if we learned what our politicians are doing with the information obtained from all these town hall meetings. It seems like these meetings are becoming very popular with the politicians.

    Almost seems like these are just “campaign stops”.
