Joe Walsh seeks walkers for Johnsburg Parade on Sunday. Here is his email:

SAUF UND SPEIL PARADE IN JOHNSBURG THIS SUNDAY!

This is one of our last parades of the season, so come out and join us as we mark the end of the summer and pay our respect as we mark the 10 year anniversary of 9-11.

Line up is at 11:00am in the Johnsburg Jr High west parking lot (map) drop off will be in the east parking lot. Please come out early and help us decorate the float.

Don’t forget to wear your red, white and blue! Parade will then begin at 12:30.

Joe Walsh brought his horse trailer, signed by supporters to last year's parade in Johnsburg.

Parade Route: Parade will begin at the Jr High parking lot on Church Street. Parade will proceed east on Church Street to Johnsburg Road then turn right on Johnsburg Road and continue through town to Spring Grove Road, the turn right on Spring Grove Road to Church Street and then back to the Johnsburg Community Club where the parade ends. Parade ends at the Memorial Hall & Grounds where there are food tents and picnic tables
