Realtors Assessment Appeal Workshop Schedued in Grafton Township Sept. 26th

An email from Grafton Township Supervisor Linda Moore (www.graftontownship.net) about the Grafton Township MLS Comparables Workshop:

We are now taking appointments for 30 minute sessions with volunteer realtors to assist with researching the comparable that can be used to complete an assessment application.

County board members will also be available to assist with completing the applications. Call Supervisor Linda Moore’s office to schedule a time at 847-669-3328.

What does a Realtor and County Board member have to do with the appeal process?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to have the assessor or a member from the Board of Review there? They are the ones involved in the appeal process.

I will attend – if you can tell me who will be there that can lower my assessments or show me how to WIN an appeal.

Otherwise, are we not better off going straight to the horses mouth, because I would hate to feel like a horses a** for listening to the wrong advice.
