Mike Skala
Huntley School Board member Mike Skala is running for the McHenry County Board in District 5.
Currently there are three Republicans
- Tina Hill of Woodstock
- John Jung of Woodstock
- Virginia Peschke of Woodstock
and one Democrat
- Paula Yensen of Lake in the Hills
A former President of the District 158 Board, Skala joins former Board President Shawn Green in aspiring to serve on the county governing board. Green is running in District 6.
District 5 is mainly in Huntley, Lake in the Hills and Woodstock.
I’m so proud of Mike. He understands the issues, has worked very diligently as a School Board Member and has worked for his Township for years. This is the kind of local leadership The People should embrace as fresh new blood for the County Board.
I disagree that he is the person to take that position.
